Although we didn’t have a chance to try paella in its birthplace (Valencia), we had a wonderful seafood paella in Villanova. Now that we are in the north, we tried our luck in a restaurant chosen at random on a day trip to Bilbao.

beautiful! Keep it coming (the food pics/blogs of SPAIN). An exchange student from Valencia visited our home last year. I asked her what struck her the most about USA. She exclaimed with no hesitation that our PORTIONS SIZES were CRAZY! Even the size of a McDonald”s hamburger, she said, was double the size here of what you would encounter at a McDonald”s in Valencia. Gotta wonder what’s up with us…..
